Packera streptanthifolia (Greene) W.A. Weber & A. Löve
X P. paupercula (Michx.) A. Löve & D. Löve ?
This specimen belongs to a series of collections made in Alberta
in the vicinity of Banff identified as Senecio Farriae Greenm., a
synonym for P. streptanthifolia. They do not fit comfortably in
the latter taxon nor in P. paupercula. They may be allopolyploid
derivatives of hybrids of these or other taxa. Specimens from
Alberta, “near Olds” identified as Senecio Willingii Greenm. may
also represent such entities.
