Pico Clay, NE part of Trevino Ranch, ca. 1.3 airmiles SW of
main gate on Mines Road, at N27°53,57.9”, W099°5ri9.4”.
Pinto Creek Quadrangle. Elev. 570-580 ft.
Vegetation dominated by Varilla texana and stunted Prosopis glandulosa.
Other associates included Atriplex acanthocarpa, Billietumera helleri,
Gutierrezia sarothrae, Hilaria belangeri, Jatropha cathaitica, Opuntia
ieptocauiis, O. lindheimeri, Quincula Iobata, Sporobolus pyramidatus.
