Herbarium of Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden Plants of MONO Co., California, USA Asteraceae Senecio multilobatus T. & G. ex Gray GLASS MOUNTAIN REGION: Solitary basaltic cone, appx. 1 mi. SE of Glass Mtn. Ridge. The most southern of Glass Mtn. peaks and ridges (aka "Cone Peak"). (Watterson Cyn. quad: 37° 44.046'N, 118° 39.324'W; T2S R30E S34, NW/4 of NE/4). Alt.: 3094m/10148ft. Exposed conical peak of coarse brown basaltic cobbles and outcrops. Windblown dwarfed open vegetation of Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Symphoricarpos rotundifolius, Eriogonum umbellatum, Artemisia tridentata, Leptodactylon pungens, Achnatherum hymenoides, Koeleria macrantha, Ribes, and a few dwarfed Pinus albicaulis.
