Georeferenced to 3 km along the sequence of roads which connects the town of Maraú to the city of Ubaituba, "Avenida Ubaitaba Ou Avenida Aroaldo Lemos Vivas" then "BR-30", in Mun. Maraú, Bahia. Beginning at the point along "Avenida Ubaitaba Ou Avenida Aroaldo Lemos Vivas" closest to the approximate geographic center of the town of Maraú (-14.1048831 -39.0146828), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 3 km (3.00000 km) along "Avenida Ubaitaba Ou Avenida Aroaldo Lemos Vivas" towards Ubaitaba. Using Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs, found coordinates for the offset. Using Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again, found the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the town of Maraú, by measuring from the selected coordinates near the center of town to the farthest extent of the town.
