8501, e. side of mouth of Silver Crk. canyon, along
Hiway 180 at corner where s.e. slope Panoche Crk. canyon
meets e. wall of Silver Crk. canyon. Atriplex polycarpa
in bottoms and on foot slope - slopes with annual cover
only and good this year. Monolopia massed on w. facing
slope of the usual soft silt-like soil. Very common in
this lower Panoche country - usually in vast masses on
steep slopes.
