Ground burned S-facing rock outcrops and talus with mixed hardwoods (Acer saccharum, Carya sp., Carya ovata, Fagus grandifolia, Nyssa sylvatica, Prunus serotina, Quercus spp., and large Liriodendron) and Pinus echinata. saxicolous on sandstone.
