In rocky (sandstone) soil on gentle E-facing slope with Artemisia.
Tetradymia. Atriplex & Bromus. Perennials from branched
caudices; leaves both basal and cauline, obscurely scabrous-
ciliate to glabrous, weakly shiny-resinous, with acuminate-
mucronate tips; stems & involucres + resinous, glabrous;
phyllaries acute-acuminate, uniform in thickness, green mostly on
distal half near + prominent midvein; ligules of ray florets yellow.
