Lat.: 34°19'12,,N Long.: 108°2r03”W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 7120 ft. In sandy soil on NW-facing slope with Chrvsothamnus. Bouteloua & Hfilianthus. Plants annual; phyllaries with delicate, + appressed hairs to llnm long; inner phyllaries with acute-acuminate, membranous tips; ray florets present, pistillate, with pale yellow liguies to 11 mm long; pappus of numerous, unequal capillary bristles, those of the disc florets to 4.5 mm long.
