Lat.: 35o07'50”N Long.: 106°29,25"W (WGS84 Datum). Elev. 6075 ft. In gravelly granite soil on gentle SW-facing slope with Artemisia Ericameria, Atrip I ex & Yucca. Plants annual; phyllaries with + appressed hairs to 0.7 mm long; inner phyllaries with acute- ~ acuminate, membranous tips; ray florets present, pistillate, with pale yellow ligules to 9 mm long; pappus of numerous, unequal capillary bristles, those of the disc florets to 4 mm long.
