Datum). Elev. 7060 ft.
In sandy soil on gentle SE-facing slope with Artemisia. Atriplex.
Gutierrezia & Bouteloua. Plants annual; phyllaries with + appressed
hairs to 0.7 mm long; inner phyllaries with acute-acuminate,
membranous tips; ray florets present, pistillate, with deep yellow
ligules to 8 mm long; pappus of numerous, unequal capillary
bristles, those of the disc florets to 4 mm long.
