Gray NW Palomar Mountains; Agua Tibia Mountains; Cleveland National Forest, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area, E slope of Agua Tibia Mountain; Approximately 1/2 mile NW of Crosley Saddle along the Palomar-Magee Trail. On a saddle S of the S peak of Agua Tibia Mountain. T9S R1W; NW 1/4, SW 1/4, Sec. 10. Elev. 4240'. Chaparral/oak woodland transition with Quercus chrysolepis, Q. agrifolia, Q. wislizeni, Arctostaphylos glandulosa, Rhamnus tomentella, Ceanothus oliganthus, Eriodictyon crassifolius, etc. Granitic substrate with sandy loam soil; NE aspect; slope 60%.
