CLINTON CO.: Open, casual campground in
second-growth mixed hardwood and northern
conifer community, ca 4 km northwest of
Sciota and 35 km northwest of Plattsburg.
Elevation ca 100 m.
Plants with short to more or less elongate
rhizomes, and tending to produce long stolons.
Herbage somewhat glaucous. Heads mostly
2-6 (7), long-pedunculate. Plants have
persisted here for several years, after an
abrupt initial colonization.
