Alluvial forest; on bank along river and in adjacent forest. Small
tree, 2.5 m tall. Inflor. axillary racemes. Sepals cream-pink; petals
white (adaxial petal with pink streaks) stamens fused into half tube
(3 fertile; 2 w/reduced anthers; 2 w/vestigal anthers; 2 without
anthers). Fruit w/apical tip, green.
