PALMS OF VIETNAM Lam Dong Province, road southwest from Bao Loc, Deo Bao Loc, forest on very steep slopes, 11°27’N 107°43’E, 615 m, 17 October 2016. Areca -J-trt -Roy t, Stems clustered, with only one main stem developed, 5-7 m tall, 6 cm diameter. Leaf sheaths forming a green crownshaft; petiole 20 cm long; rachis 1.3 m long; pinnae 14 per side, regularly arranged. Inflorescences infrafoliar.
