Section 21 T.51N R.5E; 5,900 ft., stoney Belt
Series rocks; open, rocky peak at subalpine zone;
occasional with Xerophyllum tenax, Douglasia
montana, Vaccinium myrtillus, Pinus albicaulis,
and Penstemon ellipticus; growing on SW slope along
with Sorbus scopulina; Sorbus sitchensis grows on
NE slope at top of cirque; height 1.5-2.5 meters.
