GUYANA. Tulameng Mtn., eastern slope, from N 5°33'28.3", W
60°57'53.8, along line towards summit (1534m, N 5°33'27.1", W
60°59'34.7"). 976-990 m 5°33,31.6"N 60°57'58.9"W. Wet slope forest
dominated by Micrandra glabra and understory of palms. Rich in
epiphytes and many gaps present. Tree to 25m. Turpentine odor in bark.
Infructescence axillary, racemose. Fruits yellow. Seeds immature. Silica
sample.
