Habitat
Moist valley surrounded by Pinus ponderosa; disturbed area downhill from roadcut. Associated flora: Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, white pine, Solidago velutina, Valeriana edulis, Artemisia frigida and Artemisia mexicana. Growing in saturated soil.
