    Cut-over & burned campo cerrado, ground ploughed for planting of Pinus. Ground vegetation returning, grasses, herbs, & small shrubs. Soil poor, reddish-brown fine sand with a little clay. Campo cerrado on upland (or occasionally forest). Open marsh or dense secondary forest along streams.
