limestone bedrock exposed in bed of entrenched intermittent
stream, in valley bottom on hilly landscape underlain by
Glen Rose Limestone, ca. 1.6 airmiles NE of St. Rt. 46
bridge over Red Bluff Creek, at N29°44.559’,
W098°50.458\ Elev. 1540-1520 ft. Three K’s Ranch
(future TPWD park site).
Associates included Andropogon glomeratus, Aster subulatus, Buchnera
americana, Chloracantha spinosa, Cladium jamaicense, Dichanthelium
acuminatum, Eleocharis geniculata, Eupatorium serotinumV, Fuirena
simplex, Lobelia cardinalis, Mitreola petiolata, Muhlenbergia lindheimeri,
Muhlenbergia utilis, Panicum virgatum, Platanus occidentalis, Pluchea
odorata, Sabal minor, Tripsacum dactyloides.
