The New York Botanical Garden Plants of CANADA Grindella sauarrosa (Pursh) Dunal var. quasiperennis Lunell BOTANICAL Saskatchewan: along Trans-Canada hwy 1, between Maple Creek and Irvine. Plants common along access road in clay soil, some as separate individual plants, others in large clumps. 1.4-2.0 ft. tall. Some with multiple stems from the base, others with only a single stem.
