Grindelia aphanactis Rydb.
NM: Lincoln Co. Along US 380# 12.6 ml E of
jet US 380 & US 54 at Carrizozo, W of
Capitan.
Scattered along hwy shoulder in rocky soil
and in drainage areas in sandy soil. 1.0-1.7
ft. tall. Many with only 1 stem, some
forming multi-stemmed clumps. Some flowering
plants starting to form new rosettes.
