Grindelia aphanacits Rydb. NM. Taos Co.: along US 285, 13.3 mi N of jet US 285 & NM 96, 24.4 mi N of Taos-Rio Arriba Co, line, near mile marker 377, this a turnout for a picnic talbe. Weedy roadside in gravelly loam. 1.9-3.0 ft. tall, most plants with several stems from the. base, forming large clumps. Only smaller plants collected. Growing at edges of juniper-pinyon woodland.
