Colfax Co.: along NM 58, 12.9 mi W jct NM 58 & Interstate 25 N of Springer, of 4.5 mi E of jct NM 58 & US at jct with Colfax Co. 64 Rd at Cimarron, C-12. this Plants very common in sandy, rocky shoulder of hwy and along gravel edges of C-12. 1.0- 2.0 ft. tall. Many plants with 1-2 stems from the base, those plants with multiple stems are confined to the immediate area of hwy 58, probably have been mowed. Plants appear to be biennials. Growing with amaranths, Convolvulus, Chrvsothamnus, and various grasses. T26N, R20E, S18 Mark Allen Wetter 910 Elev. 6300 ft. 17 Aug 1986 Univ. of Wisconsin Herbarium (WIS).
