NM 72 & NM 325 at Folsom, 4.5 mi E of Union-
Colfax Co. line.
Plants common in rocky soil along embankment
adjacent to hwy. Apparently biennials, none
seen forming new rosettes on flowering
plants. 1.0-1.5 ft. tall. Growing with
Liatris, scattered oaks, weedy grasses, and
ragweeds. Also growing intermixed with the
radiate G. acutifolia Steyerm. (Wetter 905).
Wetter 906 is the predominant taxon at this
location. NO hybrids found.
