GLASS MOUNTAIN REGION: Along FS Rd. 3S01 (Rd. to Deer
Spr,), appx. 1 mile W of Benton Crossing Rd., At point where
Salix exigua grows roadside. (Banner Ridge quad: 37° 39.949'N,
118° 36.73'W; T3S R30E S24, SE/4 of SE/4). Alt.: 2220m/ft.
Narrowing canyon w/ granitic soil, abundant granite outcrops
upslope. Downstream from (dry) spring. Pinus monophylla
woodland with Purshia tridentata, Artemesia tridentata.
Common in thickets w/ willows.
