leaf It is common practice to line the planting
hole of Taro with the leaves of this plant. They are
layered on the bottom of the hole and additionally
used to cover the ground near the planted Taro as
well.

Shrub to treelet, 3 m tall. Flowers green. Growing on
steep slope in open scrubby vegetation at the edge of the
