Description
Tree 8 m tall, 30 cm DBH. Fruit terminal, opaque orange, abundantly lenticellate, apiculate, glabrous. Calyx 5-persistent, the sepals ovate-deltoid, hard, apiculate, glabrous. Seeds 6, obovate to somewhat oblong, 2.5-3 x 1.5-2, purple-red. Placentation basal from a central column. Mesocarp 1-2 cm thick. Petioles 1.5-2 cm long, channelled, glabrous. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
