T 10 N; R 1 E; SW-1/4 SW-1/4 Sect. 25. With Ulmus americana, Acer rubrum, Acer negundo in brushy bottom of small valley, formerly grassy and mowed, abandoned ca. 25 years ago. Slender shrub 5 m. tall, 9 cm. diam.; bark peely-flaky. Fruit yellow-green, then red, edible, sweet and tasty. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw 46257. Coll.: M. Nee 37796 Aug. 15, 1989 02848132
