    "campina" complex on white sand overlying impermeable clay: dense low forest, canopy approx. 8 m, thick layer of litter. Common (dominant locally). White sand overlying impermeable clay.

  • Description

    Tree. Tree to 15 m x 35 cm, branching from 4 m, outer bark almost black, pitted, densely lenticellate, shed in large irregular plates, inner bark dull rose, thick; sap clear, very sticky. Inflorescences arching, fruits immature. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
