Reservoir State Wildlife Area, on N side of Two Buttes Reservoir.

points at 37.64079°N, 102.55338°W (±14 ft), 37.64301°N,
102.55225°W (±11 ft), and 37.65207°N, 102.57047°W (±10 ft; all
det by GPS; datum = WGS 84). Elevation 4250-4340 ft.
Shortgrass (Aristida purpurea-Bouteloua curtipendula-B. gracilis-B.
hirsuta-Buchloe dactyoides-Hesperostipa comata-Schizachyrium
scoparium) prairie on primarily S-facing slopes above reservoir,
with outcrops, boulders, and residuum of calcareous (strongly to
weakly HCI+) and non-calcareous (HCI-) sedimentary rocks of
Permian and Triassic age. Yucca glauca abundant throughout area,
with Juniperus monosperma, Rhus trilobata, and Ribes odoratum
scattered on rocky uplands and Artemisia filifolia scattered to
common along draws and in sandier soils on uplands.

0.75 m high.
