vs FLORA OF ARKANSAS Saline County CYPERACEAE Eleocharis engelmannii Steud. Engelmann’s spikerush Upper West Gulf Coastal Plain. Transmission powerline right-of-way through Pinus taeda flatwoods, south of Lorance Creek and north of Maple Creek. Area has a prairie-like flora and is a remnant of the herbaceous layer of the open pine flatwoods (now largely pine plantations). Vicinity ofN 34.56667, W 92.25608. Spring Lake 7.5’ quadrangle.
