At now dry creek bed. Chaco forest with Capparis tweediana, C. speciosa, C. salicifolia, C. retusa, Cnidoscolus, Diplokeleba floribunda, Anadenanthera. Mostly grazed. Common.

Shrub 1.5 m tall. Fruit held erect, yellow-green.
