Desert scrub in and around ephemeral west-facing drainage;
| volcanic conglomerate soils with Nolina, Baccharis sergiloides,
Coleogyne ramosissima, Senna covesii, Opuntia bigelovii,
j Juniperus californica, Eriogonumfasciculatum polifolium, Salvia
mohavensis.
In cracks of bedrock along canyon bottom; sampled from whole
population.
