307. Ranunculus hystricuius Gray.
Syn. Kumlienia hystricula Greene.
Near Royal Areh Falls, Yosemite Valley, Mariposa County, in the
Transition Zone, at an altitude of 1225 m.
These plants grow in crevices on the rocky walls within reach of
spray from the waterfalls. The species occurs in similar situations
near nearly all of the falls of creeks entering the valley.
