Herbarium of U. C. Riverside (UCR) Plants of Los Angeles County, California, USA Lupinus hirsutissimus Benth. FAB+ San Gabriel Mountains: West Fork Kagel Canyon, 0.5 miles west of Kagel Cyn. Rd. along Lopez Rd., 10-100 meters east of Lopez Rd. (San Fernando 7.5’ Q.: 34°18'38"N, 118022'45"W, ±100m; T3NR14WS30). Alt.: 540m/1770ft. Burn area of 2009 Station Fire; fairly level ground between two branches of cyn.; resprouting shrubs and perennials of chaparral and coastal sage scrub, with perennial and annual seedlings, dominant plants include: Salvia mellifera, Calystegia # 11983, Erodium cicutarium, Acmispon glaber, Adenostomafasciculatum, and Phacelia minor.
