Hughes Road, upstream from the confluence of Ruby Canyon and
Elizabeth Lake Canyon at the northwestern base of Red Mountain.
Near 34°35.953’N, 118°32.770’W. Elev.2000ft.
Mesic north-facing slope at point where road crosses stream.
Common local associates include Quercus agrifolia, Toxicodendron
diversilobum, Fraxinus dipetala, Rubus ursinus, and Rosa
califomica.
Perennial herb, flowers white or with a very faint pink blush.
Very local on shaded slope in humus-rich soil.
