GUYANA. Cuyuni-Mazaruni Region. Imbaimadai vicinity. Scrub forest
on East side of Partang River. 0.54 miles East of Partang River base
camp. Elevation: 546 m. 5°41'27.1"N 60° 16*23.2"W. Scrub forest.
White sand and sandstone. Shrub, 15 m tall. Flowers: speals green; petals
purple; stamens pink. Fruit a capsule with persistant sepals. Surrounding
area was burnt within the past month. Silica sample.
