road bed, just south of boyhood home of Wade T. Batson on south
side of Pumpkintown Rd (SC 288), 4.1 miles west of downtown
Marietta; 35.0174°N -82.5739°W. Collected during celebration of
Dr. B’s life, 5 days short of his 103rd birthday (b. 7 May 1912— d.
14 Feb 2015).
