Alt: 751m/2462ft Shadscale scrub and mesquite thickets at edge of barren lake bed. Very common annual in slight depressions on lake bed: in places Where water was deeper or longer lasting, and which nOW have a thin brown dried mud/organic coating. Many thousands of plants, probably >1 million, in patches towaid center of lake; dense local colonies. Populations extended to within 1.8 km of GA state line.
