NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN PALMS OF VIETNAM Vietnam. Bac Kan province: Ba Be National Park, Nam Mau commune, disturbed area next to road, 22°23’N, 105°38’E, 179 m elevation. 7th October 2015. Calamus henryanus Becc. Stems clustered, 3 m tall. Sheaths brown tomentose with upward pointing spines; petioles 20 cm long; rachises 130 cm long with 48, regularly arranged pinnae per side. Staminate inflorescences flagellate, 420 cm long. A.
