    Mixed broadleaf forest with Pinus taiwanensis and Tsuga chinensis.

  • Description

    Sparsely branched tree ca. 3 m tall, growing at edge of small opening in forest. Leaves dark green above, midvein yellow-green; blad bluish green below, appearing glaucous (but in fact not); petiole tinged reddish purple above; inflorescence axes light yellow-green, buds lightly darker; ovary of open flowers green, petals pale greenish yellow; anthers pale yellow, disc pale yellow, style column medium green.
