N.W. side of Monte Pascoal, at low
altitude. Disturbed rain forest.
Alt. 100-200 m 39°25'W, 16°53'S
This plant growing on forest floor.
Fleshy herb with broad rather fleshy spreading
leaves and short stem to ca. 30 cm.
Flowers with white pedicels and sepals, petals
mauve-purple with white area at base. Stamens
white with purple anthers. Pedicels about
2 cm, long.
