sparsely vegetated gravelly to rocky ridgecrest and
adjoining southerly-facing upper slope; with Arenaria
aculeata, Eriogonum flavum, Cymopterus glaucus,
scattered Pinus contorta and Pinus albicaulis; rays
yellow; common.
