subparallel, pale; petioles sharply
D-shaped, medium green, weakly glossy,
margins erect; blades coriaceous, dark
green and matte-subvelvety above, paler
and semiglossy below; midrib narrowly
rounded and concolorous above, narrowly
rounded and paler below; primary lateral
veins weakly raised and concolorous
above and below; inflorescences
erect-spreading; spathe green; spadix
immature, medium green and glossy,
reflexed at anthesis; fruits orange;
spadix directed downward at ca. 90°
angle to peduncle at anthesis; pistils
early-emergent.
