KENDALL CO.: common in shade of lone large Quercus
fusiformis on soils mapped as shallow, well drained,
calcareous, moderately alkaline silty clay (Doss Series,
Typic Calciustolls), on gently sloping upland underlain by
Glen Rose Limestone, S side of main road on Davidson
property, ca. 0.2 mi E of gate, ca. 1.6 airmiles WNW to NW
of jet. R. M. 473 and R. M. 3160 in Kendalia, at
N29°58’47.4”, W098°32’38.6”. Elev. 1380-1390 ft.
Associates included Carex sp. (30460), Celtis reticulata, Galium texense,
Nassella leucotricha, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Smilax bona-nox,
Tillandsia recurvata, T. usneoides (introduced?), Torilis arvensis, T.
nodosa, Verbesina virginica.
