KENDALL CO.: occasional in Bermudagrass hay field with
scattered pecan trees, on soils mapped as deep, well drained,
moderately alkaline silty clay loam (Oakalla Series,
Cumulic Haplustolls) on nearly level valley flat or terrace
along intermittent stream draining gently rolling landscape
underlain by Glen Rose Limestone, NE comer of Davidson
property, ca. 1.5 airmiles NW of jet. R. M. 473 and R. M.
3160 in Kendalia, at N29°58’49.1”, W098°32’25.4”. Elev.
1380 ft.
Associates included Asclepias asperula, Bothriochloa ischaemum,
Bromus catharticus, Carduus nutans, Ciclospermum leptophyllum,
Cynodon dactylon, Glandularia bipinnatifida, Hedeoma acinoides,
Hordeum pusillum, Lepidium austrinum, Limnodea arkansana, Medicago
minima, Melica nitens, Nassella leucotricha, Scutellaria drummondii,
Silene antirrhina, Stachys crenata, Tridens albescens, Verbascum thapsus,
Verbena halei, Verbesina virginica, Vicia ludoviciana.
