Matrix vegetation a shrubland dominated by Acacia neovemicosa, Larrea
tridentata. Other associates included Bahia absinthifolia, Bouteloua cf.
hirsuta, Calliandra iselyi, Dasyochloa pulchella, Echinocactus
horizonthalonius, Enneapogon desvauxii, Fouquieria splendens, Hedeoma
