near intersection of Money St. and Kellogg Rd. (site extends to
06.954’N, 59.012’ W, then 06.949’N, 59.271’W), 2-3 km west of
Homestead Rd. (Mound Spring 7.5’ Q.: 36°07.023'N,
115°59.023IW, ±1000m). Alt.: 797m/2615ft Slighdy sloping
area cut by shallow washes, with soft, pale, silty clay; shadscale
scrub with Atriplex confertifolia, Sucieda, Stanleya pinnata,
Prosopis glandulosa, Gutierrezia, Sphaeralcea, Bromus rub., etc.
Locally abundant annual in open areas between shrubs, on
roadsides, etc. FIs. white. Thousands of plants present.
