Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains: Bear River Road at the south
end of the dam for Lower Bear River Reservoir (Bear River
Reservoir 7.5’ Q.: 38°32'12"N, 120°15'19"W, ±100m). Alt.:
1784m/5850ft. Chaparral beside a steep, rocky bank between the
reservoir and coniferous forest.
Abundant at the base of the cliff, but mostly past fruiting.
