60°37'55.2"W. Bush island. Melastomataceae, Anacardiaceae,
Ochnaceae, Clusia. Terrestrial erect herb. Leaves green, yellow basally,
roots reddish. Short rhizomes. Leaves stiff with scabrous edges.
Inflorescence scapose, in whorls along scape. Bracts brown. Nutlets
green. Silica sample.
